This application is only for admission to the Department of Legal Assistant Education.

Application Fee

There is a nonrefundable $100 application fee. You must pay by check, money order, or credit card. Please note that no application will be processed until payment is received. Submit the application and follow the instructions in the payment section of the application. Please email the Department of Legal Assistant Education with any questions you have regarding the information required on this form. Getting Started

To proceed, you will need to provide a username of your choosing and answer a few introductory questions. You'll be emailed a temporary password that will allow you to begin the on-line application process. You will be able to return to the application at anytime during the application process and review or update information as needed. The final stage of this application process is where you will select a payment method and submit your application. Once it has been submitted, no changes can be made on-line. If you have any changes that need to be made, you must call (405) 325-1726, or email your additions/changes to the Department of Legal Assistant Education at lae@hamilton.law.ou.edu.

All applicants must submit either
  • an official high school transcript or equivalency certificate
  • -AND-
  • ACT Assessment composite score of at least 17

  • an official college transcript - (A transcript that has been "issued to student" is not official.)
